Viveca Bhat Livezey, MD
 Dr. Livezey joined our practice in the summer of 2011 and is a General Neurologist, with special interests in treatment of stroke, stroke prevention, headache and other general neurological conditions.
Dr. Livezey received her medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, followed by a Neurology Residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Texas Health and Science Center in San Antonio, Texas before joining us at our Tacoma, Washington practice.
In her previous academic appointment, she was involved in stroke research and care and involved in the teaching of residents and medical students, as well as holding her own General Neurology clinic. She has published articles in the fields of stroke and movement disorders.
We are pleased that she has joined Dr. Patrick Hogan and Sharon Jung, ARNP, in continuing to provide excellent care for patients with Headaches, Movement Disorders and other General Neurology diagnoses, including Stroke. She has experience with using Botox treatment for patients with Migraine and Movement Disorders, as well.
